Best kept secret Rose Hip Oil
The best kept skin secret of the stars is out and it does not cost hundred of pounds it's Rose-Hip Oil.
Sexy super model David Gandy revealed how he keeps his youthful glow this week Rose-Hip Oil and it seems like he is not the only star who uses the natural oil.
David never travels with out it , and insists it keeps his skin hydrated and looking fresh on long haul flights, after which he often has to dash straight to the studio and is expected to look his best .
The oils contain lycopene and beta-caroten , which helps protect the skin from external aggressors and the oil has astringent qualities, meaning it can shrink the capillaries lying beneath the skins surface , thereby reducing redness .
Unlike many facial oils it's also absorbed by the skin incredibly easily "Rose-hip " is a dry oil , so it penetrates the deepest layer of the skin cells producing more collagen elastin , reducing redness.
It is so light that you can even apply it over make-up after work to give you a fresh look. or mix with your night /day cream.

Congratulations to Conrad and Emma Baker
A perfect couple
Here comes the bride - simple rules for wedding hair
In shops today Hello magazine

Conrad and Emma Baker
The gorgeous Emma Noble would look fabulous even if she wore a bin bag, but for her big day she left nothing to chance, planning every aspect of her hair and make up to ensure she walked down the aisle as the ultimate fairy tale bride.
Apart from the dress, the most important thing is the bride's hair, her crowning glory. Here are some simple steps for brides to follow for their big day.
1 Try to use a hairdresser who knows you and your hair. Going to someone new can spell disaster.
2 If you really can't use your usual hairdresser, then have a few trial runs with the one you are going to see. This will cost you but it will be well worth it and will enable you to relax on the big day, knowing that you'll be happy with your look.
3 Less is more - the last thing you want in years to come is for your children to point at your wedding portraits and say "Who's that, Mum?" Avoid having something so elaborate that it overshadows your own personality. Hairpieces, jewels and backcombing up to the nines can result in a coiffed masterpiece - but is it really you?
The elegant Audrey Hepburn "up-do" is always a winner but more brides these days are choosing to wear their hair down. With the eyes of the world on her, Princess Kate went for flowing locks with the sides swept up on her big day. Emma Noble, who has beautiful hair, chose big waves set on carmen rollers that kept the shine to her thick blonde hair.

4 If you are going to colour or treat the hair before your wedding, make sure you have it done a week or so before your big day. Never opt for a new style or colour on the day as you will not be able to alter it if you are not happy.
5 The night before your wedding make sure you sleep on a silk pillowslip - you'll wake up fresh-faced and feeling great, and there'll be no static in your hair.

6 If you have opted to wear your hair up, make sure you go for a simple style and one that will give you the option of taking it down in the evening when the dancing begins. Using a hair bungee, pins and grips and avoiding backcombing will ensure you don't walk onto the dance floor looking like a drag queen on crack.

7 Remember the hairdresser is there to look after you - it is your day and you must not allow yourself to be bullied into something you do not want. Nobody knows your hair better than you do.
8 Last, but not least, if you are not having your hair done in an air conditioned salon, make sure you are in a cool room. Even if you are not suffering from pre-wedding nerves, you want to avoid sweating. Make sure you allow yourself private time to get ready, away from all the chaos that weddings usually entail. Delegate everything to someone else for half an hour and sit back and relax.

Chatting to the brilliant make-up artist to the stars Carl Stanley
There are many make-up artist out there that call them selves "Celebrity make up artists " But not many can claim to have done everyone from Twiggy to Naomi Campbell and a host of other stars , he is as rocking 'rolling as many of his clients and his new book autobiography "Kiss and make up " is due out soon. The wizard of make up Carl Stanley gives us some tips

What are five products
that every girl should have to hand and why?
1) Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentre – a 3-in-1
cream that is a fabulous moisturizer for under make-up, which can be used as a
cleanser, and also works brilliantly when applied thick as a moisturizing
face-mask.
2) Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler – it’s the best on the
market, and curling your eyelashes will open up your eye.
3) Garnier Roll-on Concealer – for under-eye
circles, the texture is lightweight enough that it doesn’t emphasise lines or
crow’s-feet, and the rollerball applicator is wonderfully soothing on puffy
eyes. It will wake-up even the most tired-looking eyes.
4) Max Factor Masterpiece Max Mascara in ‘Blackest
Black’ – the brush is superb, and grips even the tiniest lashes.
5) Bobbi Brown Apricot Blusher – this fabulous
shade instantly brightens your complexion, and works on all skin tones
Is it a mistake to apply
a foundation to the eyelid before applying eyeshadow?
I always use NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base –
apply directly onto the eyelid, then apply eyeshadow directly onto this base.
It holds eyeshadow in place far better than foundations or concealers, and even
when I am working in temperatures of 80+ degrees, the colour stays true and
free of any creasing all day.
Sometimes ladies don't
want to wear a full face of makeup, so what do you recommend for a natural glam
look?
A great bronzer, not too sparkly, applied to cheeks
and eyes; two or three coats of
mascara; and a slick of Estee Lauder Lipgloss in ‘Bare Glow’ on lips and a tiny dab on browbones, just below
the arch of your eyebrow, as a highlighter - instant ‘Charlie’s Angels’-style
glamour!
I've noticed that coloured
eye liners are gaining in popularity; what would you say are the hottest colours
to use this season?
Bright-bright greens and turquoises are very big
right now, and suit all eye colours. For those looking for something really
fashion-forward try canary yellow – it’s not as scary as it sounds!
What would you say is
the "secret" to the perfect winged eyeliner?
I always use a gel-eyeliner; it doesn’t set
instantly so you have time to get it right! Starting at the inner eye, paint
across the lid while very gently pulling the eyelid taut with the index finger
of your opposite hand, then, reloading the brush, paint a line from the outer
corner of the eye about 5-10mm depending on how dramatic an effect you’re
after, then extend the liner from where it stops on your outer eyelid to meet
the end-point of that line to form a
triangle, filling in any space if necessary. Maybelline Gel Liner comes with a
great brush.
How can we get longer,
fuller-looking lashes?
Eyelash growth products really do work! I’m Molly
Ringwald’s make-up artist whenever she’s in England, and the second time I
worked with her, after she had been using Revitalash for a few months, her
lashes were 100% thicker and noticeably longer. I’d been rather cynical about
such products beforehand until I saw the results Molly had experienced. Far
better to invest in a treatment product like this than thickening mascaras which
can make lashes look too clumpy.

Carl has done everyone and i mean everyone, with Mrs Thatcher
It's winter, so
obviously that can cause the skin to be very dry. What should ladies be doing
to fill fine lines in their lipstick?
I recommend applying Lanolips lip ointment before
lipstick. It has a very rich texture - a little goes a long way, so a tube
should last you for at least six months. With prolonged use, your lips will
become smoother, and the smoother your lips are, the better your lipstick will
look, as well as staying in place longer.
When choosing a lip
liner, should it be an identical colour to the lipstick or can it be used to
create contrast? Are there certain lip colours that make the lips appear
fuller? What tricks can women use to plump thinner lips?
I always outline the lips in a colour as close to
their natural tone; my favourite is Shiseido Smoothing Lip Pencil. You can use
this to rectify any unevenness in your lip shape, or to create a fuller
lipline. This is a perfect base for any colour lipstick (which you should apply
with a brush, over and right up to the edge of your pencilled lip line) and it
also acts as a magnet to prolong your lipstick.

Make Up Carl Stanley
Shades like blush pinks or vibrant corals are great
for making lips look fuller, but NEVER go for matte or pearl textures as these
will create the impression that the lips are thinner than they really are. Look
for gloss-stick lipsticks (Estee Lauder and Christian Dior do fabulous ones),
as they have the convenience of a regular twist-up-tube-lipstick, but all the
comfort of a gloss but with better wear. Don’t think a darker lipline will
create the impression of fuller lips; it will just look unnatural. And dark
lipline with a pale pearly lipstick is ALWAYS a no-no…unless you want to look
like a guest on Jerry Springer!

Kiss & Make Up
Carl Stanley
A wayward son and his manic-depressive mother must battle to discover themselves before they can start to love each other in this riotous memoir.
It’s the dress-to-excess `80s, and a mom-hating, vodka-soaked, drug-fuelled, shoplifting Birmingham schoolboy who’s reinvented himself as Boy George is desperate for the love she’s never been able to give. It’s the `90s and her skeletons are out of the closet. Today, now that he’s sober, it’s time for them to kiss and make up…
